LexmarkX63 only works after reinstalling it - again

My All-In-One works until I "Standby" my IBM computer. On wakeup, I get an error box with this message:
LEXMARK X 63 USB
An active process is currently using the port. Please close the Printer Control Program or wait until the process or application is finished. OK
No other printer is running, and I cannot find anything describing a "Printer Control Program" in Help, or in the list of programs open in Task Manager. So I have to uninstall/delete the printer, reinstall, and hope.

Right click on My Computer and select Properties. On the Hardware tab,
click on Device Manager. Scroll down until you come to the USB Controllers
entry and click on the + to expand the tree. For each USB hub, right click
and select Properties. In the Power Management tab, UNCHECK the box to let
the PC turn off the power to the USB port to save power.
