Question LG 27" vs AOC 24" for 144Hz Gaming

Hello guys,

I want to buy a monitor for my Gaming Computer, i got Nvidia GTX 1070 8Go and i want to play at 144Hz.

My possibilities are LG 27GL650F-B ( 144Hz + NVIDIA G-SYNC ) it's an 27" IPS monitor or AOC 24″ C24G1 ( 144Hz + AMD FreeSync ) VA 24"

Both here are 144Hz, prices are not that far, they have basically the same specs ( 1ms, 1920*1080, ..), LG is bit more expensive but worth the difference since it's 27" and having the Nvidia G-Sync ( i don't know if it worth the difference since i haven't tried this technology before )

So what do you think, should i go for the LG or the AOC ?

Is this only for gaming? Personally I don’t like 1080p on 27 inch monitors but that’s because half my time I am reading or working on spreadsheets. At 27” text is just not sharp and I find it annoying. However for moving images such as gaming and video I find it ok.
