Question Lian Li Strimer cables, Corsair RM850e PSU, and Asus Dual 4070 Super EVO - - how to connect them all together ?

My GPU uses a 12VHPWR connector and comes with an adapter to connect to 2x 8 pin PCI-e slots in my PSU, but I don't think I would use that with the Strimer?

However, I'd like to use the Lian Li Strimer. The cable I think I need is the 12VHPWR to 3x 8 Pin PCI-e slots, as I do not believe there is one that goes from 12 to 2x 8 pin.

Do I take 3 separate PCI-e connectors and plug into each of the 3 8pins coming from the Strimer? Or would I only plug in 2 of them like the adapter would have?

Alternatively, is there a different Lian Li Strimer cables I would buy for this set up?

Hope I've provided enough information.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You should be good to go, just leave on of the 8pin adapters unpopulated. Ideally, I'd have looked into a PSU that had native 12VHPWR support so you didn't need to deal with a bundle of cables and Lian-Li make a harness that stems from the PSU and terminates at the GPU without any adaptors, i.e, this one;

Thanks for the response!

So just to get a little visualization!

It goes
GPU connected to Lian Li Strimer 12VHPWR to 3x8 Pin --> 2x 8 pin from PSU connects to to 2 of the 3 8-pin adapters, with the 3rd not being used.

and that's because the GPU only draws enough power to make use of 2 of the PCI-e spots in the GPU and a 3rd would be pointless?

For some reason this has been breaking my brain to think about lol

forgive me if I'm wrong, but the PSU the OP linked is ATX 3.0 and says it comes with a 12VHPWR cable, would they not be better off using the Lian Li Strimer V2 cable that you linked here?
