Local Area Network Unplugged

Hi,
This is a bit strange (at least to me)...
I am having windows XP both on my laptop and desktop. Still my laptop says
local area network is unplugged. I have DI-624 wireless router.I did
everything as per their manual say still .. .
Can somebody help to find solution for this.

Check which interfaces it says are unplugged.....

I got the Same thinks

i use 3 type of Router linksys/dlink/smc , the Same problem
All the time it append at anytime any day
the LAN unplug and the modem light for LAN Goes
Anyway the Problem are the ROUTER they are not GOOD no more no mather
witch one

I remove all router using a Access manager and never have
disconnected no more & it's very rare !!

You may want to use the link.

But for me and my wireless XP laptop using a Linksys network card, I
disabled the Wireless Zero Configuration service on the XP O/S.

Then I downloaded the card's driver from its website.

Then I installed the driver and configured it using Device Manager.

On the NIC's Property Screen, I enabled *show network connection* which
places the icon in the job tray and you can put the mouse pointer on the
icon and it will show the signal strength.

I don't use the card's utility to do anything and uninstalled it.

If that Bridge icon is there with the Icon for the wireless card in the LAN
screen, then you should delete it.

When I did all of the above, the wireless connection became solid as a rock
and all the problems I was having before and have not seen since went away.

Thanks you all for ur support, but still I find I am unable to solve.
Well, I did called up d-link guys, unfortunately they are closed due to
Easter.
