I just noticed this last night. After only being on about 1 hour, the back of the control pod was hot to the touch. All the connections are right, so this struck me as being very odd. Anyone else have this problem?

It's warm but not hot
BUT the rear of the sub where the heatsink is.... THAT can get real hoottttt after an hour of good music 8) I used to put a fan behind the sub with my old Z680 during the summer :) The rear was just tooo hot to touch!

actually wondered the same thing, mine does get Very warm but i wouldn't say too hot to touch, i usually try to turn it off when i go to bed to let it cool although i didn't start doing that till i actually realized it got hot, before that i left it on 24/7 and had no problems...so your situation is typical and not problematic
