Looking for a 14" Laptop

Hello All,

I am looking to replace an aging Toshiba laptop. The laptop has all the specs I want but is low on power and kinda heavy. Looking for something newer and lighter without spending an arm and leg. Used or refurbished are ok.

My current laptop is a Toshiba E45WC.

It is a 14"2-1 touchscreen laptop. I added a backlit keyboard and a 256GB ssd. Ram is only 6gb.

I would like another 14" 2-1 touchscreen laptop with newer gen i5 or i7, 8-16gb ram, 256-512gb ssd, backlit keyboard, slim and light.

My budget is around $550.

I think your budget is too low...

8th gen i5 rather than i3, convertible touch screen, 8GB, no SSD.

Only a used laptop can be purchased for the budget you specify. I would recommend you increase your budget to $ 1,000 and buy an ASUS ZenBook Flip 14 laptop.

Hey, for that price point you should look for a laptop with at least 8GB RAM, it will go along way to running most apps and programmes simultaneously. The Acer Aspire laptops are decent, ideally the Acer Aspire 5 if you can find one with 8GB RAM if not the Acer Aspire 3.

You can get decent budget laptops with with Intel i5 10 Gen processors and the odd one with the newer 11th Gen CPU or AMD Ryzen 5.
