Hello Everyone. I need a good gaming rig to play on the weekend with my friends when we have matches in games. My laptop was okay for the past 2 years but now it is old and terribly slow. I need a SFF Desktop that can pack a punch.

CPU I always prefer Intel for my needs but I can wave the flag for the red team any day.

GPU Maybe a GTX 750 if you can (Or Better 😀)

Case I don't care as long as it has a window and a color scheme of black

Motherboard USB 3.0 and a second PCIE slot for expansion in the coming years and SLI support for 2 cards

PSU Obviously SLI support and as much power as I need (If its modular that is a big plus)

Storage 1TB HDD and a 128GB SSD is fine by me (SATA III)

RAM 8GB+

Other Wifi is a Bonus but It is not Essential.

Please Respond.... I need help :)

Edit: Nvm about SLI Support.

its decent but you could have gone r9 270 for the same price

no reason to Sli to 2 weak cards, SLi/CF is a headache you dont want, a single GPU is always best,

I would have gone with this. But its your money.

Though youre supposed to spend more money on your GPU than your CPU, Its my parent that are buying the parts for me, And they agreed to give me 300 later on this year for upgrades, I rather start off w a better CPU, since I know that I can upgrade my GPU later

Hey can you help me w/ something, I have this build set up for 740:

http://www.game-debate.com/gaming-pc/index.php?r_id=319558&cpu=FX-8320&gpu=GeForce%20GTX%20750%20Ti%20EVGA%20SuperClocked%202GB%20Edition&ram=8GBGB&thumbUp=K1llerDude117&dPoint=319558

But I found this combo on newegg
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1903331

It has same case, same ram, same hdd, but different processor and gpu, I'm now really conflicted...

there wont be a need to upgrade if he just go i5 4460 + h97=240$ or 4690k +z97 + cooler =360$ if he wants to OC

the deal is decent but for the same $ you can get a better board + better GPU and better psu, so i suggest putting the build together on Pcpartpicker and see for yourself.
a gtx 750 1gb is not exactly what i call Decent/good GPu for gaming

40$ more and you get more than 2x the performance for gaming.

How about the gtx 750 ti 2gb superclocked?

I want to go with the gtx 750 ti 2gb sc for specific reasons. but aside from that, do you think that the FX 8320 will be good?

if i was building the rig i would go intel since i will be gaming, but if your Video editing and using programs like SOny vegas, adobe premiere and other programs that utilize the extra cores then the 8320 will be better for the price, but for gaming in general the i5 + z97/h97 board will do better and its about the same price as a 8320 + gigabyte ud3 which is the lowest Mobo capable of oc a 8320 decently

what reasons would you want a weaker GPU for the same price, unless your PSU is bad

just upgrade to a single gpu monster when you want to upgrade. sli/cfx capability is not in a $700 budget that is meaningful.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your help... I think I might save some more moolah and get a better Desktop... For now I will just use my gaming laptop 😀

thats not 100 bucks more its 200$, rebates dont count.
