Looking for a Graphics Upgrade

Hi, I'm purely wondering about upgrading my graphics card, I bought this HP for christmas (http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/hewlett-packard-hp-envy-m6-15-6-laptop-black-amd-a10-4600m-1tb-hdd-8gb-ram-windows-8-m6-1184ca/10225903.aspx?path=491cc91418953d49e3d9ebded14b7b56en02) and don't think it has significant graphics for playing Skyrim, AC3 etc.

OK. I think that there is some confusion here or the link you provided is not right. If you have a laptop, you can't upgrade your video (unless your ready to do some soldering ). If that is not the right PC (from the link), then you could go with that card if I knew the specs of your desktop.

Right. If you have the laptop from the link you provided, you can't upgrade the graphics. The graphics card you showed in the link from newegg is for desktop PCs

Only specific models of gaming orient laptops costing at least $1,500+ USD can have their GPU upgraded. The vast majority of laptops (99%+) do not have graphic cards that can be upgraded.

With the 7670M though you will probably be able to run most games at low settings on that resolution. So you will be able to play AC3 and Skyrim, albeit at low settings.

Yeah, I've been looking at notebookcheck and such to see about which settings to run my games on, I just won't be able to run many mods on Skyrim, thanks everyone

Laptop graphics cards actually can sometimes be replaced, you just need a free PCIe slot(which Im sorry to say, probably doesn't exist for you because you do not have a discrete GPU pre-installed). If you do, call up your laptop manufacturer and acquire a compatible GPU(they are heavily price gouged, beware), then follow this article/video.
