Looking for a horizontal shooter

Hi all

I tried browsing some sites with screenshots but no luck so far.
What I'm looking for now is a horizontal shooter. In the first level (at
least I think it was the first level...), you're a monkey (shooting out of
the mouth); in other levels, you're a bee or a fish (don't recall the other
characters anymore). The bee for example shoots with something like a net.

Anyone?

The monkey part sounds like "Toki", but I haven't played it enough to
know if you become a bee or fish later on.

BINGO. Thanks a lot! It was so long ago that I did not know anymore that it
was the money swimming. And the thingy with the bees was definitely another
game.

Maybe something from the Parodius family? There are some weird characters
in that.

There are two inevitable consequences to aging: memory loss and I forget the
other one. 🙂

I believe Toki would be classified as a platformer rather than shooter? In
much the same way as Rolling Thunder and Green Beret/Rush'n' Attack...

Well, I never heard that expression but if you say so, I agree. So I'm still
looking for that platformer with bees and other insects that you have to
shoot down with weapons like web and stuff ;-)
