Looking for a new graphics card, i know nothing about this. HELP ME

My specs:

Windows 7 professional 64-bit (6.1,build 7601)

processor: ADM Athlon(tm) II x2 245 processor 2CPUs)~ 2.9 GHz

current Display device: ATi Radeon HD 4200

My main 2 questions:

Can i get something better than the one i have already for under 100 dollars

Do i already have a good graphics card

Provide us with more information please? what brand do you prefer? ATI? nVidia? What are you going to use the card for? Gaming? Drafting? or what? Please provide us with further information so we could further assist you.

what do you need a new graphics card for? that cpu will be holding you back for alot of graphics cards and i dont know what power supply you have. assuming you dont have any 6 pin pci power connectors and a low watt power supply i would get a amd 7750 cause it takes power from the motherboard instead of a power connector

Feel free to ask more questions if you need. I remember how hard it was being a beginner. And to answer your question, your current setup is pretty poor, the processor is weak but that graphics card will make games playable.
