Question Looking for an opinion of the better motherboard: ASUS X99-Deluxe-II or X99-E-WS/USB3.1

Looks like I will need to replace an X99-A-II motherboard that recently died and am looking for an opinion of which of the 2 listed is better.

Wifi and Bluetooth are not important, I do know the X99-E-WS takes a long time to POST but think the quality is better than the Deluxe II.

Have you identified sources for these two models? How do the prices compare?

Slow startup is relative and depends on many factors. I would think that matter could be minimized.

Yes they are both readily available, the X99-E-WS/USB3.1 is a few bucks more the then Deluxe probably because it is considered a workstation MB and perhaps build a bit better. I can honestly say my X99-A-II is junk and failed like many have talked about on the web. I think it has a weak memory controller.
Unfortunately my requirement force me to stick with the X99 platform for a number of reasons.
