Looking for ASUS p6t deluxe v2 screen shoots to match OC guide

I'm not finding the step 4. 1. Find your refference clock in the bios (it may be reffered to as base clock or b-clock.) There are also extra setting on my main Ai tweaker screen like the AI OC tuner etc.
On my CPU ration setting you have to manually put in a number and not just increase it by 10, so I'm lost.

P.S. any OCers in Northern Colorado?

If you have memory with XMP profiles, choose this setting for AI Overclock Tuner, if not, set it to Manual, and you will get the option to enter the BCLCK Frequency.

3. Which one do I need you adjust when I change the BLCK Frequency 172?

4. I changed the DRAM frequency close to its original setting at 1379 and loosened the timings for 7cas to 8cas. I'm using OCZ LV 1333 777@1.65. I have the voltage set at 1.64375.

Auto lets the BIOS control the voltage, and will let you overclock some without having to set a specific voltage yourself. Default is 1.2V.

Default is 1.8V.

That would depend on your CPU, motherboard and cooling, in other words, you have to try and see what makes your system stable.

From the linked overclocking guide: QPI/DRAM Core Voltage must be within 0.5V of the DRAM Bus Voltage. This could only be an issue when the DRAM Bus Voltage is set very high (1.71V-2.46V).

That would be CPU Voltage.

i7 920 running at 3612 MHz

AI Overclock Tuner set to Manual

everything else is set to Auto except the following

BCLK 172
CPU voltage 1.21250
Dram voltage 1.64
Memory freq. 1379 w/loosened cas timing to 8-8-8-24.

Temp is at 70 max at full load. Idle 38

Should I try lowering the CPU voltage to the stock setting at 1.2 or just leave it?
Any other suggestions?

The less voltage you use, the cooler the CPU will run, so yes, if this is the overclock you want to run 24/7 (which might be a good idea to not go higher considering your temps), now is the time to fine tune it by seeing if you can lower any voltage settings, and tightening memory latencies.

You mean above the temps you had using Prime95 (or whatever you have used to stress test?), no, if you keep that overclock you will be fine running all other applications.

Yes, you have a low voltage, but you are also at the sweet point, pushing it further would start to require (or generally do so) much more voltage, as an example, I am running mine at 4 GHz @ 1.3V.

Lowering memory voltages would not help cool the CPU.

The settings you have right now are more than fine if your system is stable.

You could set PPL to 1.8 and see if the system is stable, if not, up it one step and test again .. you know the procedure.

It is always advisable to run Memtest86+ when building a new PC (getting new memory sticks).

Update, put PPL at 1.8.
Ran prime95 for an additional 4.5 hours on the blend test.
Ran small FFTs while playing Call of duty World at War online it worked great.

Max temp only hit 72, most of the time it was around 68.

Yes, if you have decent air flow in your system, that is just fine.

Perfectly fine, it could go a lot higher than that without any issues.

I would say you are set now with this overclock, now it is time to enjoy the system. 😀
