Before I get started. I already have a windows 10 copy and am thinking of installing windows 7 that I already have purchased due to windows being annoying and installing shit without asking such as minecraft, groove and other nonsense that I'm not allowed to uninstall.

I already have a wifi card that I am not using because I donated my old one to my parents and I got it running for them with ethernet and atm i've been gaming on an alienware 17r2 with a alieware amp and a 1060 when I am not using it for school and casual gaming.

Storage drive:
Crucial MX300 M.2 2280 275GB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT275MX300SSD4

(I literally have 1tb on my alienware and only utilizing 77gb windows included so I don't need anything heavy, not to mention I store a bunch of stuff on my three external HHD)

Processor:
Intel Core i7-7700 Kaby Lake Quad-Core 3.6 GHz LGA 1151 65W BX80677I77700 Desktop Processor

CPU Cooler:
Noctua NH-U14S 140mm SSO2-Bearing (Self-stabilising oil-presure bearing) CPU Cooler
(please no water-cooling suggestions, I rarely stress my hardware any more than I need to)

GPU:
MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FE DirectX 12 GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition 11GB 352-Bit GDDR5X PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready ...

Motherboard:
MSI Z270 GAMING PRO CARBON LGA 1151 Intel Z270 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Motherboards - Intel

PSU:
EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3, 220-G3-0750-X1, 80+ GOLD, 750W Fully Modular, EVGA ECO Mode with New HDB Fan, Includes FREE Power ...

RAM:
CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Desktop Memory Model CMK16GX4M2B3000C15W

Thanks in advance for this wonderful community. I have learned a lot from you guys and this is where I got help when I first build my first rig back in 2013. Much love to you all, I look forward to reading your replies.

Edit: I will not be getting a cd/dvd drive because I have a usb with windows 7 installation that I have prepared for when it's time to construct this bad boy.

Edit: Any case recommendations?

Solution
Can't go wrong with the NZXT S340 Elite (or even the normal version). Great case for the price. The Fractal Design Define S is a solid build too.
Kaby Lake has no support for Windows 7 last time I checked
you picked a non-overclockable CPU as far as you posted, that cooler is severe overkill for that.
the 2-fan 1080Ti by EVGA costs 2$ more in the US and is severely quieter
you might wanna consider an HDD to accompany that 275GB SSD. Also when goiing for the MX300, get the regular SATA drive instead of the M.2. due to the drive's limit the M.2-connection doesn't improve speed but limits upgradability

What are your suggestions for getting an overclockable cpu to accompany this particular cooler and that supports windows 7?
I will keep that in mind for the regular sata SSD and yes, I have two boxed WD-2 500 HHD somewhere in the house. Thanks for the heads up <3

Thanks for the correction. I will be going for a 650W if this is the case. I will also be making a change to my GPU choice to EVGA 1080 Ti as Isokolon suggested.

Is this the right motherboard for the price? Is there something better? Any cpu alternatives that support windows 7?

what are your thoughts on the following changings:

CPU:
Intel Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1151 91W BX80662I76700K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 530

Motherboard:
ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming/AURA LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Motherboards

PSU:
VGA SuperNOVA 650 G3, 220-G3-0650-Y1, 80+ GOLD, 650W Fully Modular, EVGA ECO Mode with New HDB Fan, Includes FREE Power On Self Tester, Compact 150mm Size

GPU:
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0, 08G-P4-6286-KR, 8GB GDDR5X, RGB LED, 10CM FAN, 10 Power Phases, Double BIOS, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC)

I take your word on the Kaby and windows 7 incompatibility, I will just decide to make this change based on your expertise.

I appreciate all the help sir. Managed to cut 200 dollars off original build too. Much appreciated to both of you.
