Looking for help/advice to build my first gaming rig

This would be my first time building a pc. I am from India and my budget is around 1.5 lakh rupees or approximately $2500.
These are some of the must haves in my pc

CPU : 4th Gen i7 4770k (open to suggestion for other intel processors)
RAM : 16 GB (no idea which model to buy)
Graphics card : EVGA Nvidia Gtx 780 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CUIVSNS/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
(I found out that importing this is much cheaper than buying it retail in India T_T, would it be worthwhile and would the warranty apply ? Would probably buy it from amazon, also I can only afford to go single card.)
Storage: Preferably a 250 gb ssd ( Again don't know what to choose) and a 2 tb or 1 tb hdd

Looking for help in choosing the appropriate and compatible motherboard, PSU, suggested case .
Also require advice on purchasing a monitor, definitely a 1080p. I don't think the budget will allow a 1440p.
Also which peripheral do you guys suggest that would be affordable and good?

Don't use Vista. It was terrible. Use Windows 7 if you're used to Vista.

For gaming you wont need 16GB ram. 8GB is plenty.

The 780 - evga or any other will be good.

You'll need a good power supply - 42A on the 12V rail and 600W minimum eg Antec HCG 620M

For storage a 120GB SSD with a 1TB HDD would be OK.

How do you select a mother board? do you just see if it is compatible with the processor? What are the things you look for in a good mother board?

yea it's the chip-set which you said. also:

Memory Type (RAM speed 1033/1600/1866)
Max Memory 32GB (4x8GB=32GB)
CrossFire Support or SLI Support (if you were looking to connect more then 1 grafik card)
Which Onboard Header it has on the mobo and how many (USB 2/3)
that's about it. most boards over £70-$100 will offer great range of features. good luck!

most mobo's of higher quality have decent sound quality built in no, you won't hear the difference unless you use headphones. not a must in any case. I hope this was the solution you were looking for
