Hi guys,

As the topic title reads I am just looking for some help on overclocking an i7 4770k with an MSI Z87 G55 motherboard (With Most Recent Bios Update) with 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 1866mhz (Blue if it matters) with a H80i GT cooler. I cannot test the RAM and Cooler just yet with the overclock as there due to be delivered today I am just really asking what setting on the motherboard I need to turn off and on and what I need to alter exactly to achieve 4ghz as safely as possible and maybe even 4.4ghz if achievable easily and safely.

Thanks :)

Specs if required are

Case: CM 690 III
CPU: i7 4770k
Cooler: H80i GT
RAM: 2x8GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance Pro Blue
GPU: 970 4GB EVGA SSC ACX2.0
PSU: EVGA Supernova 750W Semi Modular 80+ Bronze
MoBo: MSI Z87 G55

BUMP

Just to add fitted new components (H80i GT & RAM) idle temps are now between 18-22c and load temps 45c this is on silent setting in corsair link. Could someone assist me in attempting to overclock this build as it seems it should be doable from a temp stand point.
