I’m currently in the market for a new laptop and could use some advice. I initially considered OLED models, but since I’ll be working with a lot of static images (e.g., presentations), I’ve decided against them due to potential burn-in issues.
I plan to use this laptop for the next 3–4 years, so durability is a top priority. The primary use will be for work (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and watching movies—no gaming involved. I’ll be using it for long hours, so a battery life of at least 8 hours is important.
I prefer Windows laptops since I’m more familiar with the platform. Storage isn’t a major concern because I plan to upgrade it later if needed.
One option I’ve considered is the Acer Aspire 3 (NX.KDRED.006), which costs around $370 in my country. It seems like a budget-friendly choice, but I’m a bit worried about the resolution. So I'm open to other suggestions or opinions.
