Question Looking for Laptop Touchscreen Driver

Hi,

I'm helping a family member with their laptop. It was a windows 11 based Gateway laptop GWTC116-2BL. Their software was incompatible with windows 11 in someway so installed windows 10 on to it. Now the device mostly is fine but the touchscreen isnt working. I assume the driver is missing and is related to one of the unrecognized devices in the device manager. However when I go to Gateway or GatewayUSA to download a driver, both sites presume that this laptop doesnt exist. GWTC116-2BL is the model on the bottom of the device and can be seen here: https://gatewayusa.com/GWTC116-2.html

There are other users who seem to be having a similar issue:

Like others, I have GWTC116-2 and after Windows 11 update the touchscreen is screwed up. Calibration does not work to correct the issue. I went to the driver download section and there were no drivers to support this BL Part number.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't recommend using the tool itself to install any drivers but download and run the tool to find the drivers it thinks are the proper ones.... And post a screen shot of the drivers it's saying the machine is missing

Try the auto detect by serial number.

I have the gwtc116-2bl. So I went to the web page and saw where all of other people have been complaining and they've been giving out temporary drivers and I went and followed those sites to go gather those and I was even there within the time before they expired but they wouldn't give them to me and I think because I told him what I thought of him they're ignoring me now super unhappy but my computer is just a boat in the water right now if there's anybody here that could help me out and give me some drivers I'd really appreciate it thank you. <Mod Edit - personal info removed>
