Looking for psu to run my rig

Hi im running a fx8320 black edition and a gtx 1060 3 gb will a 500 w psu be enough to run this .also is a 4 +4 pin same as an 8 pin for cpu power thanks for answering .

500w is plenty, if it's a good, high quality unit. 450w would actually be plenty if it was a top shelf power supply.

No, 4+4 is not the same as 8 pin PEG/PCI (For graphics card connection). Those are either six pin, or 6+2 pin, or in some cases there may be strictly 8 pin connectors on high powered models, but don't confuse them with the 8 pin/4+4 pin EPS motherboard power connector.

Its not for graphics its the 8 pin on the motherboard to power the cpu.

Then yes, 4+4 EPS IS the same as 8 pin EPS, on the motherboard, to power the CPU.

Thanks as i was strugling to find a psu with 8 pin in my price range only ones with 4 + 4 pin .the gpu has a 6 pin to power it .i can now go ahead and order it .thanks for your quick reply .
