GPU: 2080ti
CPU; Ryzen 3900x
MOBO: Gigabyte - X570 AORUS ELITE
Question;
AMD suggests 3600 cl16 [3733MHz is peak performance]
I'm looking for a good ram kit to pair with this mobo/cpu combo.
Motherboard is up in the air, the VRM looks good, main drawback is the lack of troubleshoot. [I think its a good compromise for how expensive the new chipset is along with the pcie4.0]
[MOBO RAM SUP LIST]
So maybe something like Corsair's 3733 2x8 ? [17-19-19-39 ] CL17
G.skill? 3733mhz [18-18-18-38 ] CL17
G.skill 3600 [15-15-15-35] CL15
[I've also heard of a new Trident Z Neo line Gskill is running, although I cant find the official resource]
Gskill Triden Neo;
14-15-15-35, 1.40v, 2x8
This is what I'm most interested in right now, even though I don't think it's out until later this month.
If anyone has additional information on these chips I would appreciate it.
Would 2x16 or 4x8 be too big a sacrifice on the Aorus Elite for 2x8 daisy chained speeds?
Having 32GB would be awesome, although I wouldn't complain too much about 16.
P.s.
This machine is mainly being used for gaming, displays running are 4k 60hz and 1080p 144hz, as well as VR.
Rendering with programs like blender not uncommon.
