Question Looking for real-world experience, 24" monitors, UK for coding and gaming

I'm looking to get a new 24" monitor for coding or gaming, budget to mid-range prices in the UK.

Can any recommend a good monitor for this based on personal experience?

Looking for 100Hz, DisplayPort/HDMI, 5ms or lower response, no silvery stands, IPS, TN or OLED, sharp text, easy to read whether dark text on light/white background or vice versa.

Reliable, good quality, no automatic brightness control. Controls via OSD menu also.

Games played include GTA, Wreckfest.

Must be actually flicker-free in reality.

Not BenQ (I don't get along with their screens)

Card is nVidia 1050ti

Any help/advice appreciated.
