Hello,

So I'm looking at slapping a i7 940 chip into a P6T board. Now first off I'm a big fan of doing the Nvidia thing so I'd lik to stay in Nvidia for a video card round 150-230$ I'm currently running a EVGA 240 GT and I must say I'm not impressed with the cards performance (having replaced my 9800 GTX with the 240 GT) So my question is what do people recommend ideally in the Nvidia field as I'd like to get the most bang for my buck.

Keep in mind I'm Canadian

Thanks in Advance

You don't 'upgrade' a 9800 GTX to a 240 GT or even a 250 GTS.

The lowest card worth getting is a GeForce 260 GTX, and even that is is the absolute baseline card I recommending for *any* gaming in this day and age.

The recommendations above are even better.

Tip: It pays to check the Charts & Graphs on Toms Hardware before forking over for a replacement part.

I don't think you can blame downgrading from a 9800GTX to a 9600GT on being Canadian!

Sorry but I couldn't resist :ange: , I would have blamed it on the snow myself but I'm a Brit and we don't really understand snow other than it's cold and wet and you don't want to eat the yellow bits.
