[SOLVED] Looking for Upgrade Advice

I have a 7 year old computer that I want to give to a buddy so he and I can do some gaming together (I upgraded this year). I was hoping to get some second opinions of what I should upgrade on this computer before I hand it off. I swapped out the RAM and graphics card about 4 years ago, so they're a little newer. I have a budget of $800, so while staying within that amount, what would be the best choices for upgrades? Thank you so much to anyone that lends me their thoughts.

Then take the HDD out of the old system, reinstall win10 on the SSD and transfer the license, remount into the new system as your "slow" storage, and put the old tower on craigslist for some broke college student.

Not exactly sure I understand you correctly but here is a sub $800 build but it will require a case...The Ryzen 2600 is at such a good price, it almost a steal! and will do a great job but as importantly will allow you to upgrade to the Ryzen 3rd gen in the 3600/3700 etc when you are ready but it will be more than good enough coupled to the GTX 1660Ti to drive a great gaming experience. The Crucial P1 1TB NVMe is also at a great price and will be a huge difference from a standard HD that you will immediately feel. The PSU is a bit more than required but the 650w was almost the same price and the 550w was only $20 cheaper so you can save there by dropping down....
