Loss of speed at router

Hello,
I currently get 5.75 Mbs at the router and 4.75Mbs at the PC according to talk talk speed test. The router is connected to the PC by an ethernet cable but also provides a wifi signal. Is the a normal drop?

That is nothing to worry about because there are other factors involved between the computer and router's connection that would cause a small drop.

Check your speed with the computer connected directly to the modem. If it doesn't change, then your ok. If there is a major increase then the router could be causing a drop, but not likely with todays routers.
