low frame rate with sli gtx660

hi newby to sli ive decided to add an extra gtx 660 to my system but getting lower frame rates it seams like sli is doing me no good any info greatly appreciated

Some games just don't play nice with SLI setups. Is there an SLI profile in the game graphics settings?

Not all games supports SLI / CrossFire, and in those games only 1 of your gpu's will be working while the others just lay dormant. What games are we talking about, and please post all your specs.
