I recently upgraded my GPU to an RTX 2080 and I'm noticing low fps compared to online benchmarks. According to benchmarks, even GTX 1080s are outperforming my GPU. For example, I get around 80-120 fps in Battlefield 1 ultra settings, 1080p. People with GTX 1080-1080TIs are getting 150-200. Same with pretty much every game, all at 1080p DirectX 11.

My system:

ASUS RTX 2080 8GB

i7-8700K

16 GB RAM duel channel DDR4-3200

ASUS Z370 P motherboard

Latest drivers

Temps are fine

Any help would be appreciated.

When you replace the GPU did you completely uninstall all the old drivers? There is a utility that does this for you call DDU

Hey there. I have been having the exact same issue with the exact same card. I have an Asus RTX 2080 as well and I have been looking around for weeks asking the same question. I switched from an RX 480 and Im only seeing 15, maybe 20 extra frames per second in Battlefield 5 at 1080p (75-85fps max settings). The more I search, the more I think its the card itself. I just printed my return label. I have tried everything from new memory, windows reinstall, putting games on SSD, all kinds of drivers, etc. I think its just a crappy partner board.
