Low price and good monitor?

I found a monitor for $255, optiquest and Viewsonic, I wondered about the dot pitch. The smaller it is the better it is, right? Well, right now on my current monitor I have 0.25 dot pitch, the one I want to get has 0.23 horizontal and 0.14 vertical and has a refresh rate of 80hz at 1600x1200 resolution. Is it a good deal for $255?

It's Optiquest O.95 (recomended by PCGAMER magazine) 19-inch.
I found out that it's .23 horizontal 0.14 vertical ,but o.27 diagnal??????? Is it any good?? It says FLAY SQUARE MONITOR!!!! IS IT ANY GOOD????

If you want a good perfectly flat 19" monitor for a good price, I'd recommend the Samsung 955DF over anything else.

it's geometry:
sqrt((.23)^2 + (.14)^2) = .27

from what ive read .25 dot pitch is quality if your computer is at that now why get new monitor? or do you just want a bigger one?

I can barely see the difference between .25 and .28.
I wonna bigger one, mine is AWFUL colors are awful, my friend owns ViewSonic PS790 .27 , not flat, but shadows in games are nicier and colors. Mine is Tatung(unknown company ,right?). I need good refresh rate I like to play some 2D games in 1600x1200 res, I don't even have such high one and at 1280x768 I have 60Hz refresh RATE!!! CAN"T SATND EVEN 5 SECONDS!!! HURTS MY EYES!!!!!!
