All that shows under PCIEX on Onboard Devices Configuration is auto, 2x, and 4x. I've updated the bios to the current update, and the M.2 SSD is situated correctly. On a Asus Prime B350-PLUS.

ryzen 2700x. The M.2 SSD has 4.5 stars out of 158 reviews on Amazon. I don't think this is a hardware issue. Under advanced\hardware configuration, theres a setting for PCIEX16_2 4X-2X Switch. There should be a setting in that drop-down that says M.2, but it only shows Auto, 2x, and 4x. I've looked everywhere else in the BIOS for a similar M.2 setting, but can't find any. The M.2 SSD won't even show up in the BIOS at all unless I switch the PCIEX to M.2 mode.

Fixed, if you have a similar issue, dont worry about the drive not showing up. Go ahead and go to th Boot menu, and set CSM to disabled. Go to secure boot and click on key management. Now, delete all secure boot keys. Insert your Windows 10 ISO and hit F10. Proceed with windows 10 installation.
