Hello, as my title states M.2 NVME Recognized ONLY after cold boot AND disconnects with Event 140 and Event 51. I have tried EVERYTHING. In addition to this, when it is detected and I try to play some games, it would freeze and crash and then it would disappear from my device manager and disk manager. This is driving me nuts any help is appreciated.
Here is the build of my computer
OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Version: 10.0.19044 Build 19044
Motherboard: Gigabyte z270x Ultra Gaming Rev1
System Type: x64 based
CPU: Intel i7-7700k
Bios Version: F9d (latest drivers)
RAM: 32GB
PSU: Corsair RM1000x
All Hyper V enabled
Boot SSD in Sata port 4: Muskin MLC 1TB -MKNSSDRE1TB
SSD in M.2: Kingston 1TB A2000 M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe Gen 3.0 x4
Here is the MOBO manual link: https://download.gigabyte.com/FileL...ming_e.pdf?v=6a8602586c70475b1668f580a15c224c
The motherboard clearly states that if I were to use an m.2 it I am unable to use Sata port 0 which is fine. I have tried moving the boot ssd to sata ports 1-5 and results are the same.
I have tried EVERYTHING, here is a list of what I have done
Here are the event error details :
Event 140:
The system failed to flush data to the transaction log. Corruption may occur in VolumeId: T:, DeviceName: \Device\HarddiskVolume7.
Failure status: A device which does not exist was specified.
Device GUID: {14d3666b-021f-f945-69dd-a87b532b1277}
Device manufacturer:
Device model: KINGSTON SA2000M81000G
Device revision: S5Z44106
Device serial number: 0000_0000_0000_0000_0026_B768_5076_0115.
Bus type: NVMe
Adapter serial number: 50026B7685076011 _0001
Event 51:
An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk1\DR1 during a paging operation.
- in this case harddisk1 is the Kingston drive
Event 50:
{Delayed Write Failed} Windows was unable to save all the data for the file T:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-2683590287-472662873-598 .. al\Microsoft\WritablePackageRoot\Sound\win\SFX. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere.
- this occurred when I was playing halo infinite for a very short time before the drive disconnected itself
It is driving me nuts I am not sure where to turn, any help is appreciated thank you!
And happy holidays
