So im planning to buy a new 1TB M.2 or SSD for my pc which i only use for gaming and streaming because my current M.2 is to small. I only have one M.2 spot so if i buy another M.2 i my current one will be either sold or put away incase i get another mobo in the future with multiple slots. So my question is if its worth to buy a Samsung Evo 970 over any of the 2 other SSD's for just gaming/streaming. The Evo 970 is 135euro, the Samsung Evo 870 is 125euro and the Crucial MX500 is 100euros) So in the end if i buy the CrucialMX500 ill save 35euro but if samsung is more reliable for future proof i might go for the samsung evo 870 but then i was thinking if its smarter to buy the Evo 970 and just drop my current M.2.. Im clueless if i had 2 M.2 slots i would have already bought the 970 Evo but now i have to either buy a SSD and be able to use my M.2 or drop my current M.2 and put a 970 evo in it
I was looking into these SSD's / M.2
Samsung Evo 970 M.2 1TB (If i buy this i wont be able to use my current 128gb M.2) = 135euro
Samsung Evo 870 SSD 1TB (If i buy this i will still be able to use the 128gb intel m.2) = 125euro
Crucial MX500 SSD 1TB (If i buy this i will still be able to use the 128gb intel m.2) = 100euro
