My Macbook Pro required some maintenance as it was overheating on the most basic tasks.
So with some help we cleaned the heatsinks and fans. And swapped the crusty dry paste for some fresh noctua paste.
After the swap we reconnected everything and started the mac just fine. Gave stuff a quick test.
We noticed we forgot to plug one fan in.
After shutting down, and connecting the fan, the mac no longer turns on?
No input from the keyboard, no sound, no booting at all, no video output.
The only thing we notice when we plug the usb-c charger in is that a few chips on right side of the board become warm to the touch.
