yay... a game that will actually utilize my proc i bought 3 years ago... that i've since given away... 😵 man physx is lame... while i enjoyed the previous game, the nvidia requirements for this game makes me think i better hold off on getting this... unless i see it on steam for < 5 bucks, i'll avoid the headache of this crappy nvidia owned concole port...

I have the original on Xbox, but it ALWAYS crashed during the first mission.
Helped teach me to beware buying used games (along with a few others that haven't worked).
Then again, crashes are just part of PC gaming (orso the devs who donèt want to fix bugs seem to think).

I think I'll give this one a try. Here's hoping that Steam or Impulse will have a demo.

THIS is why I gave up console gaming years ago! I got stuck in that upgrade trap for a couple years, but I got wise and quit... I'm happy with my system (3ghz P4, 2TB drive, x850xt) it would cost $1500 to upgrade it to play THIS ONE GAME, why when it's $40-$50 on 360? no thanks.

Yes you can, either go and have a read over in the graphic card forum or root about on the web for instructions on how to set things up and which drivers and/or patches are the ones to use.

For those of you who don't know, PS3 doesn't use DirectX. All of its games are OpenGL.

You people are really overreacting. They are hardly trying to exclude ATI owners. They specifically choose physx because of the ease of creating scalability levels. Its not like they are not allowing something critical like AA on ATI cards. I'm sure the game will be terrible with CPU physx. Lets just ignore their dedication to creating as realistic game experience as possible, a strong story and the quality of mafia 1.

It's too much too run APEX in high, like certainly when there is not a world of difference when the option is set off.Like a GTX285 for Physx is certainly too much.
