Question Massive fan RGB flicker due to blade wobble, I think ?

My case fans, mainly the rear one, started flickering a lot when the RGB light in them is on. I tried just RGB with no rotation and they stop flickering so I guess its wobble? I dont know how to fix it, it's driving me mad. Right outside my peripheral vision there's just this large, white, high-frequency flicker. It started after opening my case yesterday to fix a cable that fell out of position and started hitting a fan (not the problematic one). How do i stop this? I'd make a video but the framerate doesn't capture it.

It's so subtle too, you can't see it without the lights on but when they're on, oh can you see it alright. I cleaned them yesterday, its not dust, its because i was in the case, even though i didnt meaningfully touch them. Maybe because i had to lay the case down to open it? But that doesnt make sense since it was all fine after the pc was assembled.

What do I do?

Make and model of the case? How are the fans tethered in your system?

There's nothing user serviceable on a fan, regardless of how many LED's it has.

Was the system powered up and running when you were tinkering with said cable?

But that doesnt make sense since it was all fine after the pc was assembled.
Try disconnecting and reconnecting the cable you tinkered with prior but to make sure your system is powered down and disconnected from the wall before you disconnect and reconnect the cable.

If the case came bundled with the fans and your case is something that's cheap, then you swap out the fans.

Your PC case fan's RGB flickering when spinning but not static, especially after opening the case, suggests an interaction felinesounds issue between its rotation and the lighting, likely an electrical or signal problem. **Crucially, thoroughly check and re-seat all power and RGB cable connections** to that fan and its controller (motherboard or hub). Also, inspect the fan for any subtle physical obstructions. If issues persist, test different controller ports or adjust RGB software settings.
