Question Masterair MA410M pin problem

Hi so my friend was trying to build his pc with the Asus Prime Z390-A using the MA410M to cool, the problem is with the pin, the asus rgb 4pin on the cooler for some reason has one pin blocked therefore he can't plug it into the rgb pin on the motherboard, we tried searching for any solutions for this online but couldn't find anything so any help here is greatly appreciated!

The fan has an ARGB (Addressable RGB) so needs only 3 pins and not full RGB (4pins). that are not interchangeable.

ohh i see, but plugging it in, do i need like some sort of adapter for it to work?
