Max Resolution???

I purchased a ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 Pro, which is supposed to be able to go to 2048x1536 resolution. Yet when I go to the settings, it maxes out at 1024x768 and 32bpp??

Any suggestions on why this might be? I have the most current drivers installed. Hoping this is an easy question to answer.

Most drivers only show the resolutions your monitor supports.

If your monitor supprts higher resolutions the you may need to update drivers or Inf file for your monitor.

Like Rick says, it depends on what MS tells the Catalysts your monitor can support. That is usually dependant on your monitor drivers.

You CAN bypass this with a few programs like Rivatuner, Rage3D and MultiRes (included with OMEGA drivers). Also you can try going into the monitors tabs in windows and list all modes, and deselect the "hide modes that this monitor doesn't support".
