maxwell cards worth waiting?

is there a big difference between Maxwell cards and the 780ti, I was going to buy 2 gtx 780ti, but my friend told me to wait for Maxwell cards, so what do you think?

It is too early to tell. If it turns out to be 22nm, then its not worth it.

But even one 780ti is a ton of graphical power, two of them will tear through anything.

We currently know nothing about next-gen graphics cards other than that they might be on a 20nm process node and that they will release some time in the new year (doubt any time soon given current gen cards are fairly recent).
