[SOLVED] mdr-zx110 headphones left side doesn't work

My mdr-zx110 headphones' left speaker doesn't work, I've tried opening them up by removing the cushion and unscrewing the circular black object and inspecting it, no visible damage, both wires are firmly connected. I am worried I have to solder something as I do not own a soldering iron and I don't like the idea of soldering with fire, so I'd rather not. Is there another way to fix my headphones? I've tested them on other devices; PC, laptop, phone and console, no luck. Please help.

Yes you will have to try to re-do the wiring on the side that is not working but considering those are $15 new I'd just buy new ones, or contact Sony support or the place you bought them from if they are in warranty.
