Hi All,
I am looking to get my first Mechanical keyboard and can't decide on what I should go for.
There are two main things I definitely want in the keyboard:
■ Cherry MX-Brown keys (would compromise for some similar "specialist" or other brand keys if they're comparable)
■ Programmable/Macro keys, on the left side of the keyboard between 3-6 is fine
RGB is nice but I can happily live without it. A Wrist-rest is nice to have. Media keys are also a bonus. Tactile WASD keys would also be welcome.
I really like the look of the Corsair K95 RGB Platinum and whilst I could afford that, £200 ($260) seems like a hell of a lot for a keyboard, particularly for my first venture into mechanical.
I figure a reasonable portion of that cost comes from the RGB lighting and most of the Mechanical keyboards I have seen with macro keys tend to have this feature.
Can anyone recommend a similar keyboard to the Corsair k95 RGB platinum (or to my specs) for under £150?
Or can anyone convince me to shell out £200 on the K95?
