Hi all,

ATM I have ripjaws memory that should be able to run up to 2133.
G.Skill PC3-17000 Arbeitsspeicher 4GB (2133 MHz, 240-polig) DDR3-RAM Kit
However if I put it at anything above 1600 the system becomes unstable.

Is there

oh I must've done something wrong as I double posted this.
Could an admin remove this one pls? as the later post is complete.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Dirk

Just because the RAM has been tested and confirmed to run 2133 MHz. does not mean it will do so with your CPU/mobo as this is extreme OC'ing of the RAM speed for both AMD and Intel CPUs. While some Intel CPUs will manage to run at this speed, many won't and very few X6 Thurbans make it to 2000 MHz. with Denebs stopping around 1800 MHz. as a general rule of thumb.
