My GA 7VT600 1394 mobo manual says it supports only 2.5V DDR DIMM. The
PC3200 I have is 2.6 volt, will that small difference be a problem? Could it
cause instability such as rebooting?

Thank you. I missed it. Now I feel better.

Have a look in the bios some gigabyte boards have the option to adjust
voltage to
various components including the ram. On my board you go to Frequency/
Voltage
control and in the menu there is a DIMM OverVoltage Control adjust that to
+0.1v
and this will increase the voltage to 2.6.
