Hi everyone! Before I start with describing my idea and can it work, here are my specs:

Mobo: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R.20
CPU: AMD FX 8350 (4.1 Ghz)
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 1050 Ti Advanced 4GB Cerberus
RAM: 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 Mhz

My mobo specs about memory says:
4 x DIMM, Max. 32GB, DDR3 1866/1600/1333/1066 MHz ECC, Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel Memory Architecture

I was planning to buy 2x8GB of 1866Mhz, and wondered before I order it, will my PC work with 2 RAMs with 1600Mhz and 2 RAMs with 1866Mhz? Or all RAM stick must have same amount of Mhz?

Solution
Their no answer to your question, might work at 1600 speed, might be made to work at 1600 or 1866, or it might not work at all.

You can't run the memory at different speeds.

I just found one post here, seems that safest thing would be to sell current sticks 2x4 and instead buy 2x8 of 1866Mhz. Thanks however!
