[SOLVED] Mic audio low with usb to 3.5mm trrs jack plug

Hi all

so I have a wired ear plugs with a mic, I’ve tried two types of usb to 3.5mm trrs connectors but always the microphone sound is very quiet even though mic volume is at maximum for that device in windows 10
settings.

I’ve tried the same ear plugs with my iphone lighting to trrs 3.5mm adapter and it sounds nice an loud and clear but not on windows.
Any ideas what it could be?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include make and model information for the mics and headsets being used.

And list any, if any, audio adapters being used.
