[citation][nom]xxsk8er101xx[/nom]The first iPhone was released in 1998 by InfoGear Technology Corporation.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linksys_iPhoneJust because Apple did it it doesn't mean they invented it. Here's some more oozing ideas that Apple stole."The iPhone was an innovative internet appliance that featured a flip-lid keyboard and an LCD touchscreen that accessed an embedded web browser and an email client."Yep ... Apple didn't invent the iPhone.[/citation]

This was old news, Cisco actually had a lawsuit because they even told apple do not call it an iPhone because they owned that name. I am not sure the details but I know at least they came to an agreement.

People don't *choose* to use Windows. For most people, say 9 out of 10, it's the only thing they've ever used because there are very few options when purchasing a pre-built 'PC'. If Apple was smart, they would remove the hardware restrictions and allow people to use it on non-Apple endorsed hardware.

Sure, OS X was not the inspiration for Win 7; just all the windows folks commenting on how much we'd like this feature or that featrue to work more like OS X was their inspiration...

It doesnt matter. I play games. I web Design. Im a student. I use windows. Windows can do everything a mac can do and more.

You know, I think he was trying to say that they focused on visuals and graphics like OS X does, not that they took design cues from it. I think they're just reading too superficially at what he said. And the dude is retarded for phrasing it like that. But it probably was a legit nod to OS X in the sense that they copied the "focus on the graphics" heads up, but not as far as design cues are concerned.

I never have thought OS X and Windows had much in common. Their user interface is much different and although some functions are similar. They are probably functions both companies thought their user base wanted. Even browser seem to have the same ideals. Take tab browsing for example. I use both OS X on a Mac and Windows 7 and to me its day and night difference. I actually am getting very tired of Apples grey window boarders. I would like to see brighter colors for a OS X window.

"Over nine out of ten computer users choose Windows"
er, not exactly. Nine out of ten computer users are given no choice by their employer.

I think someone is about to get fired for telling the truth, not for lying.
