[citation][nom]rsud[/nom]MS just did the Jedi hand wave with "You like what you have been using. You're too stupid to use something else. Be happy."Sorry you fell for it. Not all of us have weak minds![/citation]

Sith Jobs waved his hand and said "There is no antenna problem."

I think it's hilarious when people like seeing Apple get shot down and the Apple fanboys immediately jump in claiming they are Microsoft fanboys and then cry about how this is a Microsoft fanboy site. Really though, most people here just like seeing Apple get shot down and they have many different preferences, not all of which are Microsoft products.

Just because a person hates Ford, doesn't make them a Chevy fan. Of course, an Apple fan wouldn't know there were more than 2 options.

I just look at it as you get more for bang for your buck when it comes to PCs. The iPod touch, brilliant! But thats about it. Apple is a gated community, with an advertising campaign any company would envy. Thing is, Apple followers only go to Apple sites edited by apple and go to apple stores with those guys who know nothing but have amazing black square frame glasses. Trick is to get them out of that trance.

[citation][nom]Vladislaus[/nom]Actually almost all PCs come with both a VGA port and a HDMI/DVI port, even the lower end laptops. The only exception being netbooks. There are also laptops that have DisplayPort besides Apple.

About the "TV output" for which you were replying to ME about...

No, MOST PC desktops only include a VGA port. Self-built or higher end models will include HDMI or DVI, usually with an and-on card. HDMI is not a standard connector - but it is usually included with todays cards NOWADAYS as well as DVI.

Both of these connectors are dead thou... to be replaced by CAT6.
Oh, DISPLAY PORT is not a TV connector, its a PC > Monitor connector... it doesn't count.

The only PCs that don't have HDMI/DVI are the ones with onboard GPU, even though there are are MB with onboard GPUs that have DVI/HDMI. Every single other pc with discrete graphics card card comes with DVI/HDMI. So no, almost all pcs come with DVI, many come with both DVI and HDMI.
Only the cheapest pcs only have VGA. In fact only the cheapest pcs have VGA nowadays, almost all others only have DVI-I that with an adapter can be converted to VGA.

I just recently switched to Apple, coming from a HP Envy laptop with Windows 7 (i7, 8GB RAM, etc...). Windows 7 is very painful for me. It crashes so much, doesn't seem to be very intuitive at all. The computer at work is another Windows 7 machine (i5 desktop this time) and it renders my life a living hell with all the crashes. Windows continues to suck it hard ever since Vista. My favorite Windows version of all time was Win2000 (Not even XP). Back in the day, that OS would NEVER crash, I never had anything bad to say and I was so anti-mac, it wasn't funny - well it was, I had some good jokes about Mac users... Now I'm one of them :/

Now to this new Apple of mine, it doesn't crash, I run the same applications (Adobe CS5) and I also have Windows 7 in a VirtualBox strictly used for IE testing environment. I got to say, hands down the Mac wins in all aspects of my daily computer routines. Oh and about the mouse comment, I plugged in my old Logitech mouse and it I actually have a right and left click. Not sure what this "ad" was talking about. To me it looks like a frightened school child trying to act tough.

Point 1 - You haven't even considered the possibility of hardware failure
Point 2 - The fact that you run windows 7 in a virtual box on the Mac and it's fine pretty much proves it was hardware failure

+1 for enthusiasm
-1 for deductive reasoning

Instead of saying "Bad Microsoft", you should really be saying "Bad HP"

i agree with some of the points but Not about the school. Macs are just so easy to take notes, work on projects, and make presentation. extremely portable form factor makes macs amazing. And in terms of compatibility, i bought the microsoft suite for mac
