M$ already announced that it will put DirectX11.2 ONLY in windows 8

Ring a bell? Reminds me of Visa with DirectX10 and the lies in showing different resolution pics so convince people to buy crap visa. Now the same with crap windows 8.

I think the only difference though is that Vista's Aero Glass UI looks better than XP but unless MS decides to throw Aero Glass back in Windows 8 i don't think 8 will look better than 7. I can easily say that with Windows 8, it's turning me to Linux. I also read here: http://www.nsaneforums.com/topic/178250-microsoft-the-desktop-ui-will-never-go-away-completely/ that it sounds like MS won't be removing the new UI anytime soon so expect Windows 9 to be like Windows 8. I can only hope that a 3rd party developer somewhere will continue to do updates for Windows 7 keeping it working on newer desktops, system updates, ect... (heck i'd pay $50 a year just to keep 7 updated) otherwise i'm moving to Linux. MS likes to be hard headed and obsessed with Windows 8 so i think it's time for someone else to take the stand and keep desktop users happy.
