Weird... a dev ssd board from microsoft, what I don't get is the implication that this was for a datacenter drive, I think it highly more likely it was for custom requirements for some custom device (Surface, hololens, xbox,etc..). I suspect Microsoft is pushing for some minimal spec like the PS5 has done. I highly doubt they would ever get in the actual commodity SSD space in volume, especially outside their first party devices.
