Omg, if this would become cheaper, lets say from 500-1000 Opteron Servers could use it in syncrinous with Opteron 2way-,4way or 8way+ blade server , or any server with the Hypertransport open system, this could be the potential holy grail for Opteron servers in the fight for Sumeremecy over the Xeon processers, this Chip gives the potential for the old DDR RAMS to perform as good or even outperform DDR2 and DDR3 servers.

does anyone have additional info on this ?

The real potential of these lies within the Socket 1207 (F) Opteron 64's. Those are scaling up to 32-Socket systems, so you could potentially put in, say, 24 CPU's into there, along with 8 Co-Processors, and truly have an affordable (To companies, lol) paltform that exceeds that of modern-day Super Computers, for a fraction of their cost. This is pretty intense, good find.
