Noticed an interesting issue with my SBLIVE VALUE card wondering if you could help...

The line 1 audio port will ONLY work with speakers attached with minijack connecters with ONE ring on the connecter, and all speakers connected with TWO ring connecters produce either static noise or faint sound overridden with static. The line 2 audio port accepts either ONE ring or TWO ring connecters and has no apparent compatibility issue.

Is this normal and what significance is there in the number of rings on a minijack connecter?? -thx

What colors are "Line 1" and "Line 2"?

Ok, two rings means that it can do two separate signals, basically. If you plug in stereo speakers to a non-stero output (like the orange one), then you'll have problems. The Green and black ones are ok (channels 1+2, channels 3+4). Pink is line in, blue is mic. I think I got all of those right.

Make sense?

Wait, you have a Value, so there is no Orange one. This is puzzling, then.
