i have managed to lose the tabs under my appearance settings. The only one
available are screen saver and resolution. Can anyone help with this. I think
i managed to get a virus, i have since cleaned everything up, but still
unable to retrieve a desktop. Any help greatly appreciated. I am a pretty
basic computer user, so if you could keep it simple that would be great.
Thanks again

See http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm, Line 285, right column, Restore All Display Tabs. This REG file will remove the restrictions that are causing the missing tabs. Save the REG file to your hard disk and double click it. Answer yes to the import prompt.
