Question Mobo will not boot to bios with GPU installed

Building my first PC so I apologize if this is a tedious question. Specs below.

I have installed everything except the GPU and gotten to BIOS--upon power on after seating and connecting the power to the GPU, I get no picture (even when using the GPU's output methods) and the VGA error light on my motherboard is present.

Specs:
i7-12700K
RTX 3060
16 GB DDR4 RAM
Aorus Z690 Gaming X Motherboard
EVGA 750 GT 750W PSU

Can you post a picture of your motherboard build and power cord/s to your gpu?

Some monitors will not auto detect the connection cable.
See that the monitor osd input selection matches the cable connection.
