Sorry. My Badyou can just go for a z370 chipset tbh.
these 2 are pretty up there.
ASUS ROG Maximus X
Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 5
All Z390 series is overclocking capable.oh if thats the case if you want to do it with less hassle you can opt for a z390 to avoid updating your BIOS for the z370 boards, but z370 boards can handle and are compatible with 9th gen intel.
but as ive mentioned you need to update your BIOS or have someone (computer repair or retail shops) do it for you.
for z390 on the other hand im not a fan of the msi z390 a pro tbh i think it would be worse than the z370 ive mentioned but you can use it and itll be fine.
you can go for maybe asus z390 strix-e or gigabyte aorus pro if you can afford them would be better.
Whatever the model you have listed. it is costlier than the Z390 A PRO Moboyou can use the Z390 A Pro if you want or if its within your budget limits, your cpu isnt a 9900k which does need mid to high end z390 boards to function properly and safely especially with an overclock.
but if i was in your spot id save up a little more for either the z370 asus maximus/gigabyte aorus gaming 5 or a mid range z390 like the strix-e and aorus pro. but its just personal preference.
Sorry My bad.yea they are around twice as expensive. but like i said if the Z390 A Pro is within your budget limits you can go for it.
i just gave you the z370 and z390 boards i mentioned since you said you want the "best" mobo for your setup which i assumed you want to spend at least 200USD for a motherboard.
Don’t get an i5 go Ryzen you’ll get more value out of itHi,
Can anybody help me to choose the Best motherboard for my below config and i want to do overclocking as well with CPU and RAM.
Processor: i5 8600K or i5 9600K
GPU: RTX 2080 Gaming Trio
Ram : Gskill 8GBx2 3200 MHZ
I already bought I5 8600K and i5 9600K.Don’t get an i5 go Ryzen you’ll get more value out of it
Ideally you’d return the chip, why do you have 2?I already bought I5 8600K and i5 9600K.
Could you please suggest best MOBO for it. My Mobo budget is 170 USD.
More probably i will keep i5 8600K CPU.Ideally you’d return the chip, why do you have 2?
if you wanna heavily Overclock I’d say a Z390 board, look at reviews for boards with good VRMs and actual overclocking forums because they’d give you suggestions and tips people here can’t. From what I know higher end ASUS boards are pretty good and have a good UEFI.
Do you know what is the VRM in MSI Z390 A PRO motherboard?I would look at the Gigabyte Z390 Gaming X at the lower end as it has a great VRM 10+2 VRM and the Gigagyte Aorus Z390 Elite which is a little more but a proper 12 phase VRM...Both have a great VRM...

SO what do you want to say here. i didn't get youPS SNAP, I have the MSI RTX 2080 Gaming X and it is stellar...though a 8700K overclocked to 4.9GHz on the Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 7....
Can we use I9-9900K CPU on Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Gaming 7.Just that the MSI RTX is great!!! and we have a similar setup!
Thank you for the suggestion. The Z370 Aorus Gaming 7 is one of the few Z370 motherboards that can handle the 9900K, though I would still go Z390 as it is the latest gen and chipset.
With the 9600K, again, I would go Z390 and personally the Gigabyte Z390 Elite will do a great job and handle the 9900K in the future if you upgrade.
